Retail Advertising Rates

 *All ROP ads that appear in our newspapers appear online. There is a fee between $2.50 and $5.50 per insertion noted on your invoice for this service. Changes are based on the size of the ad.

Color Rates:
$175 per spot color per paper. Four-color ad cost is $550 per paper. One-week notice required.
Color contract rates are available. Ask your account representative for more information.

Calculating Ad Cost:
Number of columns wide x inches high = size of ad in column inches. Size of ad x rate = cost of ad.
Example: 2 columns (3-1/2") x 5" = 10 column inches
10 x $14.15 = $141.50
(size of ad) x (one paper rate) = (cost of ad)

Non-Profit Rates:
All advertisements on behalf of non-profit, charitable or religious organizations appearing without commercial signature will be given 10% off the open rate. Tax-exemption number must be present on the oganization's letterhead.
