Orange Election 2011: Letter in support of Kevin McNabola

To The Editor:

Orange is a great town. That’s why we moved here 36 years ago to raise our family. The schools, the activities, the sense of community, the open space.

But let’s not fool ourselves. Running this town is not a simple “mom & pop” operation; it’s a real business. It’s a business with a grand list of more than $2 billion, a bonded debt of more than $15 million, and an annual budget of more than $41 million.

To run this business as efficiently and effectively as possible to benefit all of us, it takes a leader with master’s degrees in both Business Administration and Public Administration, with experience as a professional finance director, with 20 years of business experience, and a solid committment to our children, our seniors, and our town. And that man is Kevin McNabola and that’s why he’s got my vote.
