LETTER: Post commander thanks community for support

To the Editor:

All of us at Post 127 want to thank the community at large for their generosity and support during the past year.

We are especially grateful to the Orange Foundation for their grant to finance our window replacement program. Additionally, we would like to thank the Rotary Club, Baybrook Remodelers, Win Smith, T.J. Wright, Prime Source, Superior Roofing, our loyal members, Women’s Auxiliary and numerous others in the community for their donations.

Special mention must also be made of the Orange Special Events Committee, the children, teachers and administrators of the Orange school system(s).

Additionally, the following people must also be recognized: First Selectman Jim Zeoli, Reps Themis Klarides and Paul Davis, The Fire and Police Department chiefs, and first responders for their support of our 9/11 & Pearl Harbor anniversary events.

On behalf of our members, Women’s Auxiliary, & myself, we wish all a Merry Christmas & Happy Holiday Season. It is the community support that makes our volunteer endeavors meaningful and worthwhile. It is my sincere hope that we can expand our community involvement in the coming year.
