Kennedy Center awards dinner is Thursday

The Kennedy Center 60th Awards Dinner and Annual Meeting will be Thursday, April 28, at the Holiday Inn in Bridgeport.

Keynote speakers are siblings Jason and Marjorie Crigler. The awards dinner will kick off with five educational sessions from 3 to 7 p.m. These educational sessions are optional and are open to the public.

The social hour will begin at 6 p.m., followed by the dinner, the annual meeting and awards at 7 p.m. A commemorative video celebrating the achievements of the late Evelyn Kennedy, the founder of The Kennedy Center, will be shown.

Ticket prices for the annual awards dinner include several options: $20 per person for the breakout sessions only, $50 for the breakout sessions and dinner or $40 per person just for the dinner.

Any tickets purchased at a higher level and any donations will benefit the clients of The Kennedy Center. Advance reservations are needed by April 22. No tickets will be sold at the door. Ticket information: 203-365-8522, ext. 213 or thekennedycenterinc.org.
