Babysitting class teaches youth business, child care essentials

The Shelton Youth Service Bureau is offering a Safe Sitter Babysitting Class for youth ages 11-13.

The class will take place at the Echo Hose Ambulance, 100 Meadow St., on Saturday, May 21, from 10 to 3 p.m. Cost is $50, which covers all materials needed for the class.

The Safe Sitter Babysitting class is a five-hour curriculum that covers babysitting as a business, success on the job, child care essentials, preventing problem behavior, basic first aid information and infant/child CPR
