Kitchen tour supports local scholarships

Twelve residents are again opening their homes to the public to view their distinctive kitchens for the 11th annual Old Greenwich/Riverside Community Center (OGRCC) Kitchen Tour. The fund-raiser will take place next Wednesday, May 25, between 10 and 2.

People are invited to participate in the self-guided tour, with luncheon in the clubhouse of the Riverside Yacht club.

Fund raised from the event will help the OGRCC in its mission to provide adult and youth recreational, athletic and social programs, including before- and after-school child care programs at several local schools.

Proceeds from this tour will support the OGRCC’s need-based scholarship fund, which enables families in need of financial assistance to participate in OGRCC programs.

Ticket prices are as follows:

• $60 — Self-guided tour only

• $90 — Self-guided tour and luncheon

• $75 — Patron ticket. Self-guided tour

• $150 — Bronze patron ticket. Self-guided tour and luncheon

• $300 — Gold patron ticket. Self-guided tour and luncheon. $100 voucher to spend on any OGRCC program.
