During the early stages of my campaign for the Board of Education, I have had many opportunities to hear the opinions and concerns Ridgefield residents have with regard to the state of education here in Ridgefield.
Be it through my petitioning process, various coffees, Board of Education and town meetings I have attended or just talking with people around town, I have heard from representatives of many demographics.
I have spoken to parents of children in all levels of our school system, homeowners whose children have since graduated from our schools and senior residents from Founders Hall. These conversations have been very enlightening and have provided me with some very important perspectives that I will look to carry forward as a potential member of the Board of Education. I thank you all for taking the time out of your busy schedules to speak with me on this very important topic.
The one common theme I can point to is that we all want to ensure that we provide the all of Ridgefield’s children with the best quality education but that we are also fiscally responsible in our spending. This is a cornerstone of my campaign. Children First. Quality Education. Fiscal Responsibility. As a parent, a homeowner and a taxpayer, I want what is best for our children and town. Trust that you have been heard and I look forward to the honor of representing you on the Board of Education.
