The Darien Nature Center, in response to parental requests, is offering a series of one-day-per-month after-school programs for elementary school children that focuses on what they like best: Animals.

These Come on Over classes will be held the second Monday of each month, from 3:45-4:45.
Come on Over classes start Jan. 10 with the Polar Bear Plunge. Children will learn all about these great arctic creatures and other neat winter animals.
February’s class, Dinosaurs Rule, scheduled for Feb. 14, will focus on dinosaurs.
On March 14, kids will learn about Winged Wonders: bats and birds; on April 11, Reptiles Rock: snakes and lizards; and on May 9, Interesting Insects.
