The library is once again offering 21 Things for 21st Century Parents, a self-directed program for parents that explores and engages in Web 2.0 technology. The program kicks-off event on Saturday, Jan. 22, from noon to 2.

The 12-week program runs through April. Parents will participate in 21 simple activities to be completed from home. Learning about 2.0 technology such as blogs, social bookmarking, RSS, and alerts will provide parents with knowledge to guide their young digital natives online.
Each parent will be partnered with a library mentor and have the opportunity to attend in-person meetings. Upon the program’s completion, a Flip video camera and eBook reader will be raffled.
