Recently, my fellow columnists have done an extremely admirable job of discoursing on the current state of entertainment in America as it applies to our young generation and to the public as a whole. They’ve done such a commendable job that I felt compelled to continue their work. In particular, I write of a subject relevant 50 years ago and relevant today, as pervasive now as it was then: Television.

Dear Larry,
The time has come for me to clean out all the old, useless files that have accumulated over the years in my documents folder. The task seems daunting. Any suggestions before I begin? — P.R.
Dear P.R.,
Funny, isn’t it? The Law of Physics suggests that it’s immensely difficult to create something and far easier to destroy it. But when it comes to the Documents folder, it seems as if files appear out of nowhere and before you know it, you’re overrun with anything and everything you ever stored on your computer. When the time comes to clean it all up. .. there’s always tomorrow. Well, tomorrow has arrived!
