Darien Library will offer a workshop for parents, All I Want for the Holidays is...Less Stress and More Balance, on Tuesday, Dec. 8, at 10, presented by the Life Solution Center of Darien's members Cecilia McCall, a professional organizer, and Laura Van Riper. Just drop in.

Darien resident Laura Coyle is offering a life coaching class, “Passion, Purpose and Possibility,” beginning Sunday, Dec. 6, at Westport Therapeutic.

The class, which is an introduction to the power of life coaching, will be held from 1 to 3. The cost is $25.

For the second year, the Junior League of Stamford-Norwalk, based in Darien, is organizing a coat drive on Sunday, Nov. 22, to benefit three charities in lower Fairfield County: Person-to-Person of Darien, Pacific House of Stamford and Norwalk Emergency Shelter.
