Reception of library's Symmetrical Photographs exhibit is Saturday

Symmetry Photographs by Michael Cavaliere of Bridgeport will go on exhibit beginning Wednesday, Oct. 14, in the Easton Public Library conference room gallery, 691 Morehouse Road.

The exhibit of digital photography, open to the public during regular library hours, runs through Jan. 5. A reception with the artist will take place Saturday, Nov. 7, from noon to 3 p.m.; refreshments will be served.

The show features nature photographs and manmade objects using a technique process in Photoshop. Cavaliere’s goal is not to simply document a subject but to elevate that subject to a work of art.

He has won many awards as a photographer. He is an active member of the Connecticut Association of Photographers.
