Alumni basketball games are Nov. 28.

Joel Barlow High School will again be the site for the eighth annual Coach Jim Morros alumni basketball games on Saturday, Nov. 28, with a tip off for the boys game at 3 p.m. and immediately followed by a girls game. All former Barlow boys and girls varsity players are invited to participate.

This annual event is also played in tribute to Jim Morros, longtime teacher, coach and mentor during his 26 years at Joel Barlow. Each year a scholarship is awarded as a lasting memorial to Morros. The scholarship is presented annually to a deserving Barlow senior who plans to continue his/her studies in the field of physical education or health.

Donations to the scholarship fund may be either sent to Bruce Seide, c/o Phoenix Marketing Group, P.O. Box 599, Georgetown, CT 06829 or brought the day of the game. Checks should be made payable to the Joel Barlow Scholarship Fund.
