Children prepare food for local charity

FS-WEB-deed-4k-2-16

The children from K'tanim Preschool at Congregation Beth El in Fairfield did a good deed when they made a meal of ziti, vegetable salad, fruit salad, bread and dessert for 50 people at the local branch of Operation Hope.

As part of the preschool's mitzvah program, the three and four-year-old children make a meal every year for Operation Hope.

They also bring in charity money each Friday for the weekly Shabbat celebration.

At the end of the year, the school sends money to a worthy charity.

This year the charity money will be going to an animal shelter to help feed and take care of the animals.

K'tanim Preschool is located at Congregation Beth El, 1200 Fairfield Woods Road.
