The former AC Hair on Black Rock Turnpike has been transformed into Salon ISA, under the management of Mario Guleryuz.
With its simple, warm and elegant look, he has created a comfortable environment that has a touch of Europe with an American flair.
"Salon ISA offers professional services in a friendly relaxed atmosphere," he said.
"The salon prides itself on personalized consultations. Our knowledgeable staff pays attention to each customer's total look. We consider your hair your best accessory."
Mario received his cosmetology license from Renasci Academy in Norwalk. He has special training in Redken Toni and Guy and has been certified from Deva Curl in New York City.
Salon ISA has a team of licensed stylists and barbers, who continue their education several times a year. The salon also plans to increase its employment, staff said.
The salon provides services to men, women and children, including color, highlighting, straightening treatments and restorative hair care.
"Our first year in business has been great," Guleryuz said. "Fairfield is an ideal community to open a business." Clients from all over Fairfield County visit the salon.
Salon ISA is located at 2068 Black Rock Turnpike and is open Monday and Tuesday, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
