
Here’s a little note to the non-believers in Connecticut. The Greenwich High School girls ice hockey team is state contenders this year.
Back on Jan. 16, the Cardinals battled perennial power and rival New Canaan at the Dorothy Hamill Ice Rink. Stunning the Ram fans in attendance, Big Red came away with a 2-1 victory. However, most thought Greenwich was lucky to get the victory and the Cards would get blown out in the rematch later in the year.
