Members of the Greenwich High School boys and girls cross-country teams took to Waveny Park last week for the FCIAC championships. The Greenwich boys team finished 11th overall, while the girls team finished 11th as well with 295 points. The GHS girls team was led by junior Camille Matonis, above, who finished 22nd overall with a time of 16:05. Sophomore Alicia King took second on the team and 61st overall with a time of 18:10 and senior Nicole Carroll took 66th overall with a time of 18:23. On the boys side, junior Victor Dahl was the quickest male Cardinal, crossing the finish line with a time of 17:33. Senior William Newberry finished 42nd overall and second for GHS with a time of 18:09. Fellow senior Alex Huebner took 74th overall with a time of 19:11. — Dave Stewart photo
