Mary E. Sheridan of New Fairfield, formerly of Ridgefield, died Tuesday, June 30, at Danbury Hospital after a nine-month battle with an aggressive brain tumor. She was 66.

Lawrence J. “Larry” LaPare, 62 of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., and Wayland, Mass., died unexpectedly on Saturday, June 27.

Mr. LaPare and his wife lived in Ridgefield for more than 13 years before moving to Ponte Vedra Beach and Wayland.

John Fox Clifford, 90, of Ridgefield, husband of Shirley M. Clifford, died at his home on Friday, June 26.

Jeffrey Lee Kahn of Ridgefield, a retired teacher who had been active in high school theater productions, died Wednesday, June 24, at his home. He was 67 years old.

Mary S. Sullivan of Ridgefield, a former school board member who had been active in many Ridgefield organizations, died Friday, June 19. She was 94 years old and the widow of former Postmaster John L. Sullivan.

Elias Ignatius Burke, newborn infant son of Sean R. and Nicole Duggan Burke of Ridgefield, died on Monday afternoon, June 15, at Danbury Hospital.

Joseph R. Boggs, who had lived in Ridgefield for 33 years, died Thursday June 11 at his home at the age of 65. He was the husband of the late Joan E. Boggs, who died in 2003.

Bernadette A. Marczely, a professor, attorney, and a former principal at Ridgefield High School, died unexpectedly May 9 in Cleveland, Ohio, where she was a professor of administrative supervision in the graduate school of the College of Education at Cleveland State University. She was 64 and the wife of David W. Marczely.

John P. “JP” Morgan, a Ridgefielder for 56 years, died on June 7. He was 88 years old.

Theresa Agnes Orlando of 25 Gilbert Street, a 10-year Ridgefielder who spent most of her life in New York City, died on June 7, at Danbury Hospital. She was 83 and the widow of Frank G. Orlando.
