Lawrence J. “Larry” LaPare, 62 of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., and Wayland, Mass., died unexpectedly on Saturday, June 27. Mr. LaPare and his wife lived in Ridgefield for more than 13 years before moving to Ponte Vedra Beach and Wayland.

Joseph R. Boggs, who had lived in Ridgefield for 33 years, died Thursday June 11 at his home at the age of 65. He was the husband of the late Joan E. Boggs, who died in 2003.

Marczely, a professor, attorney, and a former principal at Ridgefield High School, died unexpectedly May 9 in Cleveland, Ohio, where she was a professor of administrative supervision in the graduate school of the College of Education at Cleveland State University. She was 64 and the wife of David W. Marczely.
