One big hit in particular provided the Aspetuck (Redding-Easton) 14- and 15-year-old Babe Ruth baseball All-Star team with an offensive spark early in its game against Bethel last week.
With the bases loaded in the first inning, Nick Kot came through with a grand slam to give his team a sizable lead. Bethel responded later on but not enough to catch the hosts, who won 9-6 on Friday, July 3, at the Redding Boys and Girls Club.Home of the Month
