A survey by the Bridgeport Child Advocacy Coalition (BCAC) has found the national recession is taking a heavy toll on Bridgeport families.
The survey of 1,012 Bridgeport parents, completed in April and March, found “increasing poverty and hunger and more families suffering,” said incoming BCAC Chairman Frances Newby.
