Badge Bonanzas at Audubon
Connecticut Audubon Society teacher-naturalists will lead Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts on a hike through Larsen Sanctuary Saturday, Sept. 15 or Saturday, Oct. 27, 9 a.m.-noon, 2325 Burr St.
The badges Connecticut Audubon Society will address each day for boys will be: Boy Scouts Bird Study, Webelos Naturalist, Bear Sharing Your World with Wildlife, and Tiger Let's Go Outdoors.
For Girls: Junior Animal Habitats, Brownies Bugs, and Brownies Hiker. These programs tie into Girl Scouts taking their Journeys through "It's Your Planet, Love It!" and/or "It's Your Story, Tell It!"
Space is limited; advance registration is required. Fee is $10 per badge per scout. Scouts are asked to dress for the weather and bring a water bottle and insect repellent.
