Lenten pasta suppers — featuring short plays portraying Biblical characters who witnessed the Easter story, on Friday Feb. 15 and 22 at Great HIll United Methodist Church, 225 Great Hill Road, Seymour. 19th Century fashion — Clothing fashions of the 1800s will be the focus of a Seymour Historical Society program on Sunday, Feb. 17 at 2 p.m. at historical society headquarters, 59 West Street. The program will be presented by Adrienne St. Pierre, of Bridgeport’s Barnum Museum, who will display garments from museum collections, including the “modern” innovations of hoop skirts and bustle dresses. St. Pierre will discuss how the styles reflected the social, political and cultural contexts of the times. The snow date is Sunday, March 3 at 2 p.m.
Pierogi sale — Fridays from 9 to 11 a.m. and Sundays from 5 to 7 p.m. from 11 to noon through Easter, Seymour Congregational Church, Broad Street. Cost is $6/dozen. Call 203-881-2027.
