Stephanie Perruzza of South Salem will graduate from the University of Rhode Island on Sunday, May 17. Ms. Perruzza intends to become a nutritionist, following in her mother's footsteps.
During her tenure at the university, Ms. Perruzza assisted her nutrition professor in a research study on gum's effects on appetite, worked with the campus dieetitian, and prepared a cookbook for college students. She also interned in the test kitchen at the magazine Everyday with Rachel Ray, testing recipes submitted by readers.
