On Thursday, Nov. 12, the students at Katonah Elementary School took part an annual world record cup-stacking event. The event was part of a world-wide effort to top the World Sport Stacking Association’s record of 81,252 people stacking cups around the world on a single day. In stacking, students attempt to stack cups, designed for the sport, in specific sequences as fast as they can. Students in each grade at Katonah participated in the event, stacking individually and in relays.
