Seventh grade students from John Jay Middle School visited the Bronx Zoo on Wednesday, Nov. 4 as part of their biology classes. Three academic teams organized activities, including recording information about specific information and participating in a scientific scavenger hunt. At left, seventh grade students John Pisera, Ethan Pollak, Ryan Lee, Dan Jenkins, Max Rappy, Dylan Gold, Shane Swatz, and, kneeling, Marshall Euchner and Josh Strongin stand with their science teacher, Gregg Kastanis, in front of the zoo's scarlet ibis exhibit.
