School musicals begin tomorrow

John Jay High School and Middle School will present their annual spring musicals this week and next.

Starting tonight, John Jay High School’s students will perform The Sound of Music by Rodgers & Hammerstein. Performances will take place at 7 p.m. tonight, March 11; 8 p.m. tomorrow, Friday, March 12; and at 2 and 8 p.m. Saturday, March 13. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students or seniors. Discounts are available for groups of 20 or more.

John Jay Middle School’s performance of Grease will begin next week, with performances on Thursday, March 18 and Friday, March 19 at 7 p.m. and on Saturday, March 20 at 1 and 8 p.m. Tickets are $10. Tickets are also available for a dress rehearsal on Tuesday, March 16 at 5 p.m. for $5.
