League to hold green talk
The League of Women Voters of Bedford, Lewisboro, North Salem will sponsor an informational program, “20-20: A Vision for A Green Future,” at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow, Thursday, March 11, at the Cyrus Russell House in Cross River.
The discussion will be one of the first in the community since the new Bedford 2020 Coalition was formed, and will be offered free of charge to the public.

It figured to be the year the John Jay boys bowling team would take a step back — with three starters graduating, including the star player for the program’s first four years, Peter Dulin.
Instead, the Indians brought in new players and continued their forward momentum with another breakthrough season that saw them win their first-ever league title.
And with all six varsity players expected back next season, John Jay’s prospects are brighter than ever.
