Kerner wants joint meeting

Planning Board members want to increase communication with other boards in town, and new board Chairman Jerome Kerner has recommended a joint meeting of the Planning Board, Zoning Board of Appeals, Architecture and Community Appearance Review Council (ACARC), Conservation Advisory Committee, and the Town Board liaison in order to discuss issues facing all of the boards.

The suggestion arose out of a request by board member Joseph Decaminada at the meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 26, to invite the Planning Board’s liaison with the Town Board, Peter DeLucia, to meetings at least once per quarter. Mr. Kerner expanded on that idea to a potential joint meeting.
