Fifth graders for fields

To the Editors:

I am a fifth grader and attend the Meadow Pond Elementary School. My family, my friends, and I are very excited to hear that we will have additional playing fields soon after the vote that will take place on Dec. 8.

I enjoy playing many sports, some of which include soccer and softball. To know that there will be additional fields to play on is something that I am really looking forward to. I encourage all elementary school students, like myself, to make sure that their parents vote in support of the referendum.

I’m hopeful that this letter will persuade more elementary school students, who participate and have fun playing sports, to remind their parents and older siblings to get out and vote on Tuesday, Dec. 8. I can’t wait to play on these new fields!
