Many made concert a huge success

To the Editors:

Thanks to everyone who helped make the spring concert such a huge success.

The Community Chorus sang flawlessly and beautifully. Jean Cilione’s All I Ask of You was sung poignantly and was lovely. Robin Luongo performed an unaccompanied Prelude from the Bach Cello Suite in d minor and it was exquisite. The Three Flutes entertained us delightfully with trios by Mozart and Quantz.

The Vivaldi Pastorale by the Cantabile Trio with Robin Luongo, myself and Susan Liss, was absolutely lovely. Thanks to Matt Svenson for his memorable performance of Let It Be, accompanying himself on the piano.

And Dr. Peter Muir! His two ragtime pieces were the ultimate of the genre and his fingers flew on the keys.

Please tune into Lewisboro Community Television, Channel 20 and see what you missed if you weren’t able to attend this concert. A word of gratitude to Alayne Vlachos for making goodies for the post-concert reception and to Carol Barrett for the programs.
