Volleyball: Indians open playoffs today at home

The John Jay volleyball team opens the Section 1 Class A playoffs today, Nov. 2, with a home match at 4:30 against Brewster.

The Indians (9-7) are seeded second.

The 10th-seeded Bears rallied from two games down to beat seventh-seeded Greeley in the first round, 3-2, on Friday.

With a win, the Indians will advance to the semifinals on Wednesday at home (4:30) against the winner of today's quarterfinal match between third-seeded Yonkers and 11th-seeded Tappan Zee.
