Storm predicted to start at 3 a.m. Wednesday

The following alert was issued by the Department of Homeland Security, warning residents about a looming winter storm:

The latest computer model runs of the NAM and GFS are still indicating that a powerful winter storm will form along the Mid-Atlantic Coast just east of the Del_Mar-VA Peninsula early Wednesday morning and move slowly to the Northeast during the day on Wednesday,  This storm is currently forecast to bring heavy snow to the Mid-Atlantic States and much of Southern New England (especially in Southern CT). The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for Southern CT and a Winter Storm Watch for Northern CT from Wednesday morning through Wednesday night.
