The Neighborhood Kids Program at the Monroe Preschool’s Early Childhood Intervention Center is accepting applications for its 3-year-old class for the 2012-13 school year.
Sessions in the program, run by the Monroe Public Schools, are held three days a week, 8:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Children participate in age-appropriate preschool curriculum in preparation for kindergarten while they act as role models for children with special needs.
The goal is to let children learn through play in a natural, child friendly environment. Improving children’s language skills, personal and social development, fine and gross motor skills, and play skills are emphasized.
Call Monroe Preschool at 203-452-2870, ext. 2144, for registration information and applications.
