Mary Jane Frisbee to marry Scott Macdonald

Christine and Richard Frisbee of New York City and Osterville, Mass., formerly of New Canaan, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Mary Jane Ashley, to Scott Michael Macdonald.

Ms. Frisbee attended New Canaan public schools and graduated from Convent of the Sacred Heart School in Greenwich. She received a degree in English literature at Trinity College in Hartford. She works for 5W Public Relations in New York City as the senior account supervisor of fashion and lifestyle divisions.

Mr. Macdonald is the son of John and Suzanne Macdonald of New Fairfield. He graduated from New Fairfield High School and also earned a degree from Trinity College, with concentrations in political science and economics. He received Juris Doctor and master’s in business degrees from American University in Washington, D.C., and is a senior associate in the investment funds, advisers and derivatives practice area of Sidley Austin LLP in New York City.

Both Ms. Frisbee and Mr. Macdonald live in New York City. A June 2012 wedding is planned on Cape Cod.
