SLOBs stock supplies

Nancy Harris of New Canaan (right) and Stephanie VanHatten of Family & Children’s Agency (FCA) hold backpacks stuffed with school supplies, all collected by Nancy’s son Conor and other members of the New Canaan Service League of Boys (SLOBs). The backpacks and supplies will be distributed to children who participate in FCA’s programs to provide them with a good start to the school year in September. This is the second year the SLOBs have collected supplies for FCA, which serves more than 10,000 individuals, including children, adults and families, throughout Fairfield County.
