Fall Fair carves out family fun

The New Canaan Nature Center’s 40th Annual Fall Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, October 17, rain or shine.

The day offers “old-fashioned family fun, crafts, games, activities, fresh food and live music for the entire family,” according to a press release. This year the fair also features a pumpkin carving and decorating contest. Fresh soups, entrees and baked goods will be available, while local bands play live music.
