Channel 79 features health care forum

The following is the schedule for NCTV79, beginning Friday, October 9:

“Crisis and Opportunity in a VUCU (Vulnerable, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous) World,” featuring Alison Gruseke of Yale University, will air at 10 a.m., 2 p.m., 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.

“Health Care Reform: What it Means To You,” a forum presented by the New Canaan League of Women Voters, will air at noon and 6 p.m. The panel features Michael Turpin of USI Insurance, Frances Padilla of the Universal Health Care Foundation and Jennifer Millea of AARP. Jane Himmel, President of the League of Women Voters, serves as moderator.

Coverage of the New Canaan Alumni Athletic Association and the New Canaan Old Timers Association annual honoree event, which was held at Waveny on September 20, will air at 10 p.m.
