“Signed, Sealed & Delivered,” a fund-raising event, returned for its eighth year at the Silvermine Guild Arts Center with a collector’s party October 3. More than 125 residents from Fairfield and Westchester (N.Y.) counties attended, raising more than $17,000.
Guests had the chance to bid on original works of art in the silent auction created by Robert and Shana Parke Harrison and Faith Ringgold, as well as guild artists Jocelyn Braxton Armstrong, Miggs Burroughs, Peggy Dembicer, David Dunlop, Constance Old, Peter Petrochko and Susan Sharp. The fund-raiser featured works from Silvermine artists, School of Art faculty and invited artists, including paintings, prints, photographs, mixed media and collages.
Proceeds from the party benefited Silvermine’s nonprofit programs, which include gallery exhibitions, scholarships for the School of Art and Art Partners, a community outreach program.
