Residents plan gala for STAR

STAR, Inc., Lighting the Way, a not-for-profit organization serving infants, children and adults with developmental disabilities, will host the eighth annual Galaxy of STARs Gala Dinner Dance and Auction, at 6 p.m. Saturday, November 14, at Woodway Country Club in Darien.

Sponsored by several New Canaan residents and committee members, the event will offer a live and silent auction.

The committee for the event includes Rob and Meghan Cioffi of New Canaan, and Joan Dionne of New Canaan.

Tickets for the gala start at $250.
