The league will explore how decisions are made regarding future use of park land; how competing proposals for park use are managed, and how the town garners resident input.
Though the event references Waveny Park in its title, it is “intended to be an educational opportunity for our community” on how all public land issues are decided on by the town, according to program co-chairs Kathleen Corbet and Karin Naill.
