Local pianists perform classics

New Canaan residents Carole Clarkson and Kathy Edwards will perform with the Darien Community Association Duo-Pianists in a concert “European Get-A-Way!” at 4 p.m. Sunday, November 22.

They will perform two piano arrangements of Debussy’s “Fete” — “In A Monastery Garden” by Kettelby and Bach’s “Little Fugue.” Other pieces include “March Militaire” by Schubert, Brahm’s “Waltzes” and an eight-hand version of Rachmaninoff’s “Prelude in G Minor.”

Tickets cost $10 and include cabaret seating at tables of 10 with wine and cheese provided. The concert takes place at 274 Middlesex Road in Darien.
