League, Walter Stewart’s offer meals

The Young Women’s League of New Canaan and Walter Stewart’s Market are working together to provide packaged meals to the needy this Thanksgiving. The meals will be donated to Person to Person, a volunteer-driven, community-based agency that responds to area neighbors lacking in basic necessities and resources. Each year Walter Stewart’s Market donates more than 100 turkeys to Person to Person through the league. This year, the grocery store is offering a “boxed” Thanksgiving meal for $27 ($42.75 retail value) for anyone who wishes to donate the pre-packaged food.

Donations for a meal may be made at Walter Stewart’s Market. Meals will be delivered to Person to Person in time for Thanksgiving.
