Movie night, rapper fill Outback center calendar

The Outback Teen Center is hosting several events in the coming weeks.

The center will host an eighth grade movie night on Friday, November 20, featuring “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.” Free popcorn will be served, as will pizza, for a fee. This event is free for members and $3 for non-members. The movie will start at 7:30 p.m.

Rapper Chris Webby will perform on Saturday, November 21, for high school students only. Tickets are $20 and may be purchased online. Ticket information may also be found on the Outback’s Facebook.com page, in the events section.

The Middle School Student Governing Board will meet from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 24.

The Outback will host an indoor barbecue for seventh and eighth graders on Wednesday, November 25. This event is free for members and $5 for non-members. Participants may compete in a volleyball tournament, play pool, Ping Pong, video games or just hang out with friends.

A member of the Outback staff will be at Saxe Middle School during the seventh and eighth grade lunches today Thursday, November 19, to take sign-ups.

The High School Student Governing Board will meet from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, December 2.

The Outback will be closed from Tuesday, November 26, and will re-open Tuesday, December 1.
