The Pura Vida first annual “Mailbox Brigade” will become a holiday tradition in New Canaan, starting this year. Pura Vida Club is an organization run by New Canaan High School students that benefits children in need.
For a $35 donation, fresh greenery will be wired to residents’ mailboxes, topped off with a red bow, according to a press release.Orders are due by Monday, November 23, and checks must be made payable to Pura Vida and mailed to Christine Betack, 87 Danvers Lane, New Canaan, CT 06840.
Any orders received after November 23 must include a $10 late fee. The final cutoff is Monday, November 30.
All mailboxes will be decorated by Monday, December 7.
