Turkey trot at Irwin Park

Friends, family and pets are invited to the sixth annual New Canaan Turkey Trot at 9 a.m. this Sunday, November 22, in Irwin Park.

The event will raise money to ensure that the area’s homeless do not go hungry on Thanksgiving, according to a press release.

Participants are encouraged to donate a minimum of $25 but any amount is welcome. Those who attend will be able to explore the trails of the park, and Starbucks coffee and Dunkin’ Donuts will be served.
