‘Book Voyagers’ series tackles Newbery winner

Christopher Brown will lead a discussion on the Newbery Award-winning book “Julie of the Wolves” by Jean Craighead George, as part of the New Canaan Library's “Book Voyagers” series, a literature discussion program for children in grades five through seven. The event will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 12.

“Julie of the Wolves”is the story of a 13-year-old Eskimo girl who becomes lost on the North Slope of Alaska and befriends a wolf pack.
