Center hosts holiday parties, dance

The Outback Teen Center has several upcoming events during this holiday season.

Today, Thursday, December 17, from 3 to 5 p.m., children and adults are invited to decorate cookies to be donated to organizations and groups in need for the holidays. This event is led by Outback’s middle school and high school student governing boards and led and sponsored by the Youth Adult Partnership Board. The center will host a seventh grade holiday dance tomorrow, Friday, December 18, from 7 to 10 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Dinner including pizza, a drink and ice cream all for $4 will be served from 6:30 to 7. Students must reserve their spot in order to attend the dance. This event is free for members and $15 for non-members.

The Outback will be holding a photo scavenger hunt around town tomorrow, Friday. This event is free for members and $3 for non-members.

Seventh and eighth grade girls are invited to come to the Outback and get their hair and make-up done by the professionals from Salon 126 from 5 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, December 19. The event is free for members and $5 for non-members.

The Outback is holding a holiday cookie event on Wednesday, December 23, for interested seventh and eighth grade students. This event starts after school and is free for members and $3 for non-members.
