Final planning is in the works for “A Night in Dublin,” the annual St. Aloysius spring parish gathering which is sponsored by the Friends of St. Aloysius. The event will take place at the Italian Center in Stamford on Friday, March 12.
The evening will honor Mr. and Mrs. John McCaffrey for their service. Convivio, a High School Catholic Congress, will be held March 12-14 at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield. It is open to high school students.

Registration for the annual Vacation Bible School will be held at a coffee from 9:30 to 11 a.m. today, Thursday, March 4, in Stapleton Hall. Forms are also available in the back of the church.

On Friday, March 5, Adoration in the chapel will immediately follow the 9 a.m. Mass and run until 9 p.m. Stations of the Cross will be tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. A Women’s Day of Recollection at 9 a.m. with Mass, the rosary, a reflection, confession and adoration.
Parishioners are invited to participate in Lenten almsgiving by donating gently used books. After Saturday, March 6, the books will be donated to Abraham House in the South Bronx, N.Y.
“Almsgiving We Can All Do” is the topic of the next Lenten series talk by the Rev. William Carey from 7:15 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, March 8, in Stapleton Social Hall.
