Bank’s latest exhibit features Fog’s work

As part of an ongoing exhibit series to support local artists and photographers, longtime New Canaan resident Wendy Dixon Fog’s paintings and photography will be on view at The Bank of New Canaan’s 208 Elm Street branch through the end of May.

The community is invited to view the exhibit any time from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays, and 9 a.m. to noon on Saturdays. The public is also invited to attend an opening reception for the artist at the bank Thursday, March 18, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Fog began her real estate career more than 12 years ago and is a Realtor with Brotherhood & Higley Real Estate. Fog is a member of the New Canaan Board of Assessment Appeals and also serves as an officer and an EMT with the New Canaan Volunteer Ambulance Corp.

A graduate of Miss Porter’s School in Farmington, Fog received an associate of arts degree in interior design from Bennett College, and majored in art history at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. She also received a degree in landscape design from the New York Botanical Gardens and had a landscaping company called Chrysalis Design.
