Buses replace trains this weekend

Buses will replace the New Canaan branch train service on Saturday, November 7, and Sunday, November 8. Buses will follow train schedules. This service change is being done to accommodate switch and signal work along the branch by the Connecticut Department of Transportation and Metropolitan Transportation Authority Metro-North Railroad.

During this work to improve the right-of-way, about 500 people will be affected each day, a press release from Metro-North said.
