Chelsea Boursiquot captured the 55-meter dash title and Lauren Sara was state best in the 3200-meter run, and Alisha Beeman outjumped the field when the Bunnell High girls team placed third at the Class L indoor track and field championships held in New Haven on Feb. 11, scoring 50 points to place behind Darien (67.5) and Windsor (66).

Bouriquot, a junior, ran a 7.33 to better her seed time by four seconds, and was followed past the finish line by Lady Bulldog senior Susan Lora, who ran a 7.43, eight seconds better than seed.
